Moby Plus
Our flagship product! A self-administered, automatically-scored assessment of oral reading that provides screening, diagnostic data, and progress monitoring.
- Measures oral reading fluency in English of students in Kindergarten through Grade 5.
- Provides diagnostic data on areas of strength and areas for improvement, and includes progress monitoring.
- Uses Caimber's automatic speech recognition (ASR) and natural language processing (NLP) technologies to automatically score student assessments.
- Offers aggregated performance charts, including running records and access to student recordings, providing teachers with immediate, accurate, and personalized data.
- Includes extra practice activities in the form of videos, games, and additional readings to encourage students to practice their reading and language skills 15 minutes per day.
How it works:
Students read word lists, sentences, and short passages out loud, and they are prompted to retell the passages and respond to short questions using their voice.
Recommended practice activities are tailored to each student's level and provided 5x per week, including a weekly formative assessment. This targeted approach assists teachers in devising strategies to enhance their students' reading abilities.
